Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 16, 2026

World AI Brief is an independent AI news and intelligence publication. This policy describes information handling for the public website and direct email inquiries.

Scope

This policy applies when you visit World AI Brief pages, use reader controls stored on your device, follow source links, or email a published World AI Brief address.

Information automatically processed

The site does not actively create reader accounts or advertising profiles. Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers may process technical request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timing, and security signals to deliver and protect the service. World AI Brief does not state a fixed infrastructure-log retention period because provider and account settings may vary.

Information voluntarily submitted

There is no public contact form. If you email us, the message, sender address, headers, and any information you include are processed to review and respond to the inquiry.

Cookies and local storage

The current public site code does not set cookies or use session storage. The optional Save article control uses browser local storage to keep article titles on your device. You can remove that information through your browser controls.

Analytics and infrastructure

Event-collection and analytics components exist in the codebase but are disabled in the current public interface. The site does not load advertising scripts, third-party analytics scripts, or external font services. Infrastructure-level operational and security processing may still occur.

Newsletter status

Newsletter signup and sending are not operating. Email inputs are disabled, and World AI Brief is not currently collecting newsletter addresses through the public site.

Contact and inquiry handling

We use information in an email only as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain an appropriate record, prevent abuse, or protect the service. Contact privacy@worldaibrief.com for privacy questions or access, correction, or deletion requests concerning information you submitted directly.

Third-party links and sources

Articles link to primary sources and other third-party sites. Those services have their own information practices, and this policy does not govern them.

Data retention

We retain direct correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for the inquiry, editorial records, security, or applicable operational needs. No more specific period is promised where one has not been established.

Security

We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please report potential vulnerabilities through the Security Policy.

Children

World AI Brief is a general-audience professional publication and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children.

International access

The site may be accessed internationally, and technical processing may occur where infrastructure providers operate.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
